Goodbye Friend

Today is a sad day for the Peters family.

This morning our sweet Pudgy Peaches Peters took her last breath in our arms.

 She and Rocky (Rocky Road Peters-her brother) were our first babies.

We were told last week that Pudgy had a large tumor that could not be removed. We knew this was coming, but there is no possible way to prepare yourself for all of the emotions you will face. After Rocky died about a year ago, I thought maybe this time it would be easier. But it wasn't. It was much worse.

Pudgy just had her 12th birthday on October 31st. She celebrated with a bowl full of scambled eggs like she has every year! We are going to miss her morning hellos, handshakes and smelly kisses.

Bye Pudgy Girl. We love you.

 We hope there is a doggy heaven where you are now running and playing with Rocky.

Farewell to Rocky

This week we said goodbye to our dog Rocky. It was a very sad day for all of us. Matt and I bought Rock and Pudgy in December 1998. They were to be our "babies" until we decided to enlarge our family. (Little did we know that we would get preganant-with our sweet Emily- a few weeks later!!!)

Since so many of you loved Rocky with us, we thought we would share some of our pictures with you. He and Pudgy were inseparable! She is going to have a hard time too.
