I found another amazing blog. I have been stalking her since 2am. OK not every minute since then, but really you have to go and see for yourself at Ruffles and Stuff

Her name is Disney. really it is. But you will have to go to her site and read more. She is so stinkin cute! So is her little girl (model of all that's supper fabulous for children)

I came across her Ruffles (and up-cycled) T-Shirt Scarf and couldn't resist making my own.

My very own tutorial!!!

This is the first tutorial I have posted that is absoultely 100% mine.

 I am soooo excited and hope the handful of people who follow me are too!

And if you are not officially a follower, please follow and make my day!

OK now for the tutorial:

Upcycled Oatmeal Canister becomes a perfect place to hold hair accessories.

All you need is an empty oatmeal container, an old sweater sleeve, and a glue gun.
Simple right?

I chose brown to match our animal print bathroom.

Cut the sleeve from one adult sweater and stretch the cut end over the canister top.

Then grab cut ends, twist, and cut about an inch from the canister

 (or have a lovely assistant like I did cut it for you).

Then add some glue to the bottom of the canister, twist again and pat onto hot glue.

Then I added a few more drops of glue here and there to secure.

Turn over and add glue along the rim of the canister top and

press your finished sweater sleeve edge onto the canister.

That's it! Now you can add all of your hair accessories to your creation. 

  

 My kiddos even put their mirror and hair dryer in here.
