One of those days

It's been one of those days...You know the kind where you don't really do much of anything.

Well, before I go on I want to say THANK YOU to all of those who serve and have served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, etc. YOU are our heros and without you, WE would not be who we are. May God continue to bless you and your loved ones, today and every day.

Today is also my brother Matt's birthday. So happy birthday bro. I love you lots. To learn more about this amazing brother, husband, father, teacher, etc. and his super Haute Wife go here.

So, other than a quick bike ride with my favorite kiddos, I spent most of the day playing around in the world of blog. I came across this super fabulous fall background that I found here  Doesn't it just ooozzeee fall? I simply had to have it. It took me awhile to work out the kinks with my previous settings but I think I got it. I didn't even do laundry (sorry Matt), straighten up around the house or cook. In fact my children decided after our bike ride that it was time for some homemade chocolate chip cookies (because really, are there any other kind?)
They turned out yummy! Way to go girls!
Now they are digging out leftovers and creating a fab fridge chicken noodle soup. I will post some pics soon. What a blessing. Not only was I able to just "hang out" today and admire some amazing blogs, but I am also being treated to a home cooked dinner by my children.
