Don't try this at home! (Weekend Adventures part 3)

So, if you have children old enough to watch iCarly, you know who Spencer is and what his specialty food is, right? For weeks my girls had been asking me to make something particular for dinner. Look at "Sunday's" meal below.

 Spaghetti-Tacos (yes, you read that right-Gross, with a capital G). So, I finally gave in on Sunday evening. I made a big bowl of spaghetti and fried up some taco shells.

 

 Doesn't that look good? (Um, not really my cup of tea)

 But Katelyn liked it...

And Emily liked it...

But Daniel and I stuck with plain old spaghetti.

Then my sweet girl even did the dishes (don't you just love her outfit?)

 Can you see how the rock side sheered off? Very cool

 But, a bubble bath makes it aaaalllllllll better!

In Cupcake Heaven (Weekend Adventures part 1)

Here is how I started my weekend - I stayed up way too late creating some of my best cupcakes ever!

 Coconut cupcake frosted with coconut buttercream and topped with toasted coconut flakes. (Can you tell I love coconut?) This is simply the best cupcake I have ever made. YUM-O!

Then...because I wasn't satisfied with one cupcake at 11:30 pm, I made a chocolate latte cupcake frosted with an espresso buttercream and topped with chocolate (wish I would have had chocolate espresso beans). This too was pretty darn good. Next: I have been thinking of making a Smores inspired cupcake and then something with lemon for sure. I also want to make chocolate covered bacon. I have heard it is very tasty. Anyone ever tried chocolate covered bacon?

On Friday afternoon, Matt took the kids to the snow.
